Vinnie Caruana Signs To Equal Vision Records

Punk rock veteran Vinnie Caruana — of The Movielife and I Am the Avalanche fame — has signed a new deal with Equal Vision Records, which will be releasing a new full-length solo album.

Caruana had this to say on today’s announcement:

Equal Vision has been a mainstay in the punk scene for years and has run itself with great integrity since before I even knew I’d be a musician. They and I are kinfolk. We are lifers who have endured and maintained respect in the scene throughout the years and through its many phases. For me, Equal Vision is a very good match.

And from EVR’s general manager Daniel Sandshaw:

It feels amazing to welcome Vinnie to the family. We met in the early 2000s and we’ve been trying to work together ever since. When he sent his new solo demos, I was truly blown away. It feels like the universe had this planned all along.

We caught Caruana’s performance on the Acoustic Basement stage at Warped Tour a few summers ago, check out the pics below.
