Have Mercy – Good Christian Man

havemercy

Baltimore rockers Have Mercy will be releasing their upcoming third studio album, Make The Best Of It, later this Spring – April 21st via Hopeless Records to be exact – and have just shared another new single, “Good Christian Man”, following the release of “Coexist” back in February.

“Good Christian Man”, like “Coexist” before it, is emotional and personal and features a richer, fuller sound that shows off more depth and maturity as the band as grown up together over the past six years.

I grew up in a Catholic family. I’ve always believed faith is a beautiful thing but never thought religion was for me. This is mainly about me not being able to openly talk about these things with my family. Also, over analyzing things and habits that under the assumption that if I do them then something bad will happen. The good old Catholic way. – vocalist/guitarist Brian Swindle

While of different faiths, I look at religion and my own background in a similar way to Swindle, and it is very interesting – and very well done – to see that theme reflected in his music.

You can check out the video for yourself below as well as all of the band’s upcoming tour dates.
